Everyone has at least one bad habit. Whether it is being always late, overusing social media, nail biting, tapping your feet etc. A bad habit can affect your health, happiness and relationships. 

A habit is a behaviour created through repetition. A behaviour you have engaged in so many times that it has become second nature to you. Often it started out as a coping mechanism, developed in response to a certain situation. And although logically you know that this habit is not good for you, the more you think about it the more it is on your mind and the less you are able to stop it.  

Your mind keeps sending you a very powerful signal to carry on, undermining all your best intentions for change. We use hypnosis to work directly with the part of your mind that keeps sending these unhelpful signals to you. This will help you to deal with the underlying, often hidden, emotional triggers so that you can solve the problem at its root and lose the habit for good. You will also be guided towards developing new, more helpful, responses to those situations that previously would have triggered your habit. 

The list of unhelpful habits and behaviours is long and their impact can range from mildly annoying to seriously damaging. Here are just a few examples:

  • Control issues etc. 

In some cases you will be advised to rule out an underlying medical issue before commencing with hypnotherapy.
